On October the 1st we took a trip to Cairo to see the pyramids and the GEM, from start to finish the whole trip was very well organised and we were kept updated during the day before with flight times and pick up etc. the day was amazing and we will defiantly remember it forever. It was our first time at the pyramids and no photo will ever do them justice than seeing them in real life for yourself, the GEM is incredible! The trip included transfers to and from the hotel, entry to the pyramids, entry to the GEM and also lunch and shopping in between. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Tag in Luxor und sind sehr froh, dass wir uns für eine private Tour entschieden haben – für uns definitiv die richtige Wahl!
Schon die Buchung über WhatsApp war unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Wir bekamen sofort eine Rückmeldung und auch auf Fragen wurde immer schnell geantwortet. Die Online-Zahlung war sicher, und anschließend erhielten wir sowohl eine Buchungsbestätigung als auch eine Rechnung per E-Mail.
Unser Fahrer Achmet war pünktlich, sehr freundlich und sofort zur Stelle. Er ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat uns den ganzen Tag über ein sehr gutes Gefühl gegeben.
Unser deutschsprachiger Guide Ashraf hat den Tag dann wirklich unvergesslich gemacht. Er war sehr herzlich, kompetent und ist ebenfalls ganz individuell auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Außerdem hat er wunderschöne Fotos von uns gemacht – so haben wir neben den Erinnerungen auch tolle Bilder von diesem besonderen Tag.

We booked two excursions with Best Tours Hurghada, and both were absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

Mini Super Safari

This excursion was packed with activities and really well organised. It included hotel pick‑up and drop‑off, a knowledgeable tour guide, helmets for safety, a 40‑minute quad bike ride, a 25‑minute sand buggy ride, and a Jeep adventure to a Bedouin village around 40 km away.
At the village, we enjoyed traditional Bedouin tea, freshly made Bedouin bread, a camel ride, and had access to toilets and bottled water.

The whole experience felt authentic, safe, and great fun for all ages.

Glass‑Bottomed Semi‑Submarine

Our second trip was just as impressive.

We were picked up from the hotel again, greeted by friendly staff, and taken aboard the semi‑submarine. The guides were brilliant — especially the snorkelling guide — and we got to see vibrant coral reefs and colourful fish up close.
Snorkelling equipment, life jackets, soft drinks, water, and toilets were all provided, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Overall

Every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful, and professional. Communication was excellent throughout. I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical when I saw all the 5‑star reviews online, but after experiencing two excursions myself, I can confidently say they’re 100% genuine.

🇪🇬✨ WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! ✨🇪🇬
What an absolutely AMAZING day with Samir and his team! ❤️
We booked a private trip to Cairo to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and honestly, from start to finish, it was just incredible! 🥳🎂
From the moment I booked, the communication was brilliant. Our driver was on time, the transfer to Hurghada Airport was so smooth, the flight was only about an hour and when we landed in Cairo our private driver was waiting for us.
He brought us for a coffee before heading to Giza and was so knowledgeable, telling us all about the sights along the way. His English wasn’t the strongest, but he just used Google Translate on his phone to make sure we understood everything 😂👏
Then we met our amazing tour guide Mirna at the pyramids and WOW… what a lady! ❤️
We had waited 19 YEARS to finally see the pyramids and it was definitely worth the wait! 😍🇪🇬
Mirna was so much fun, so knowledgeable and an absolute star. She even became our personal photographer and took loads of photos of us doing all sorts of poses 😂📸
The pyramids… the Sphinx… and then the Grand Egyptian Museum. WOW! 🤩
If you are coming to Cairo, the GEM is an absolute MUST! The Tutankhamun exhibition was incredible and so interesting. You could easily spend 3–4 hours there, and I honestly think you could go every day for a week and still find something you hadn’t seen before!
Then off for lunch at a local restaurant — a beautiful buffet with something for everyone. Even my husband, who can’t eat red meat, had loads to choose from and the food was absolutely delicious! 😋
Mirna joined us for lunch and we had great craic chatting about Egyptian and Irish food traditions 🇪🇬🇮🇪
Then came another surprise… the waiters started singing Happy Birthday to my husband and before we knew it the whole restaurant had joined in! 🥳🎂❤️
From there we headed to the Nile for our private felucca boat ride. ⛵️
30 minutes of Egyptian music, Irish music, dancing, laughing and of course another round of Happy Birthday! 😂🎶🇮🇪
Then back to the airport for our flight to Hurghada, which was on time, and our driver was waiting for us when we landed and brought us safely back to Desert Rose Resort.
Honestly… what a DAY!!! ❤️
Everything was organised so perfectly and Samir and his team made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.

Private 2 Tages Tour nach Kairo

Wir sind mit der Kommunikation und dem Service sehr zufrieden. Unser Fahrer Abdul hat einen sehr guten Job gemacht und uns souverän durch das “Verkehrschaos” in Kairo gesteuert und uns gut hin und zurück nach Safaga gebracht.

Unser Guide Herr Ahmed Farag hat ebenfalls einen super Job gemacht. Egal ob im Museum, bei den Pyramiden, der Sphinx, dem alten Kairo, auf dem Basar, bei der hängenden Kirche oder der Moschee. Er hatte zu allem Informationen und hat es gut verständlich in gutem Deutsch erklärt.
